Remove presently-installed vnc client/server:
# yum remove vnc # yum remove vnc-server
Download and install tightvnc client/server (note it has been replaced by tigervnc as of Fedora 11)
# yum install tigervnc # yum install tigervnc-server # vncserver
Set up a password when script asks you to do so.
Install TightVNC client on local machine to view remote machine.
